Hello! I’m Tierra Momplaisir, and for 15 years, I’ve been dedicated to helping children grow, learn, and thrive through occupational therapy. My journey began at Florida Southern College, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology, followed by a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Alabama State University in 2012. I have since earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, reflecting my commitment to lifelong learning and providing the highest quality care to the children and families I serve.
From the very start of my career, I knew pediatrics was where my heart belonged. Along the way, I discovered my true passion: feeding therapy. Supporting children as they overcome feeding challenges and empowering families throughout that journey has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding parts of my work.

The Number Three
I’ve never believed in a lucky number, but the number three holds a very special place in my heart. It’s the number that completed our family, and my three children are the greatest inspiration behind my work. We started our journey with 3 Steps Services in February 2026. Since which my experience with Tierra has truly been incredible. My high energy, Autistic son has a speech delay. He struggled with coordinating hands and feet to complete major and fine motor skills. He would get frustrated, scream and/or cry trying to do the basics in life. Tierra instinctively knew how to work with him. She teaches him through the avenues he finds the most interest in and challenges him with unfamiliar tasks as well to intrigue him. Most of the time he doesn't even know he's in therapy due to all the fun he's having. Often he comes home trying to recreate the fun he had in his sessions. Tierra keeps me updated of his progress and tips to sustain the progress at home. She also genuinely cares for my child and the progress he is making. Her motherly instincts of not only knowing her clients but reading them when they are having a bad day and meeting them where they are for day is very impactful to a child's spirit and will power to keep trying. She's definitely a cheerleader! My child will be ready for school and all of its challenges because of her. His success is a direct reflection of her mastery of the craft of Occupational Therapy.
